with six beautiful products in the range, all quirkily designed and packaged there should be a treat for most make up lovers!

spring 2009 will see the launch of maid in britain, a luxury website and boutique concept, created by me! i am sooo excited about this new venture!

maid in britain is a decadent treasure trove showcasing the best of british bridal fashion from gowns, millinery and jewelry to footwear, and promoting the services of handpicked partners, offering only the very best of wedding experiences.

the maid in britain website will offer an extensive supplier directory with listings ranging from cakes to castles, an online boutique, bridal forum and blog and private bridal account area where brides can take advantage of the complimentary wedding planning service that will also match suppliers to a bridal wish list, whether inspiration is vintage country chic or city elegance.

sitting alongside the best of british designers including vintage westwood, wakely and temperley maid in britain will also champion lesser known british designers in the bridal fashion world.

sugalily has a temporary move

well it has been a busy few weeks for us here at sugalily, with countless new orders and a move from our lovely studio in friargate in derby to our temporary home for three months, at honeysuckle cottage, which sounds ideal but is a squeeze for the team!

we are busy working away on our current projects, which include some really exciting new ventures and collaborations!

as soon as we have a little more time we will be back to keep you updated!

well! it's been an incredibly busy september and october! with top drawer, holidays and sugalily happenings!

we are still working on our top drawer orders,  current and new wedding orders, our "a" list celebrity (pearl  lowe and danny goffey) winter wedding, forthcoming move (again!) to our new studio, new products (dirty pretty love, vintage glitz and glamour and second hand rose to name but a few!) and services (maid in britain and angel and the saint) that will be launched in the new year.

we had an exciting time at the event, securing lots of new suppliers and a national account!

after the bank holiday

well its been a hectic weekend both work and social! starting of in manchester with a lovely night at worsley park with the gang, before heading back for work on saturday and then heading out for further bank holiday celebrations in derby, then work again monday morning followed by more celebrations!

this week is all about wedding commissions so a busy but lovely week.

what's in store for the week ahead?!

well this week is all about top drawer (again!!!) preperation, as well as working on old, new, borrowed and blue designs.

it is also my brothers birthday (happy birthday james!) so we are off to zizzi's on tuesday, pre theater at le bistrot pierre on wednesday with the girls and then a much needed relaxing night on thursday before the bank holiday weekend!

last thursday we had a lovely dip into the sunshine and last minute decided to have a bbq and make the most of the weather!

and then i met with mum for a cocktail later, it was one of those days!

madi and luke dropped by yesterday for lunch and a catch up, we got caught in the rain but still braved sitting outside!

what's in store for the week ahead?!

well, in addition to day to day design and production work, top priority is planning for top drawer, one of our trade shows at olympia.

top drawer is still a month away but i am going for a new look as i really need to start planning the stand, i think i am going to go for gothic glamour meets high class hooker in a boudoir sense!

i will post some pictures on line of the final designs and obviously of the stand when it is all finished.

less exciting priorities are sorting out the sugalily accounts (eghhh!) and doing the usual monthly backups.

my  mentor from my old corporate life is also coming for lunch on tuesday which i am really looking forward too.

we took lily aura into the rural setting of field farm at duffield as part of the beef stock festival

from cornwall to scotland!

well, we had a really fantastic time in cornwall and can thoroughly recommend watergate bay for its scenery and atmosphere. we travelled to newquay, padstow and rock, all of which were in a short radius from watergate bay.

the weather was truly amazing and it was a wrench to leave and head back to the rolling hills of home. thank you to david for keeping the sugalily home fires burning!

we are now of to scotland for a couple of days on a working holiday and visiting friends so i will post some pictures at the weekend, as well as some new images i have had taken of sugalily products.

the next newsletter will also be out at the weekend so make sure you look out for that and all of the sugalily news in a nutshell!

we are off to watergate bay next week

places we visited....the gorgeous view from rock, looking over at padstow, rock beach, padstow, watergate bay and the hotel and st pierre.

i am really excited about kicking back for my first break since new year. i am of to watergate bay near newquay. check out www.watergatebay.co.uk which will be home to sugalily for a few days!

i plan to indulge in some watersports (hmmm!) but mostly relaxing, sampling the local seafood (i am really looking forward to going to jamie olivers fifteen cornwall) and local cider.....yummy.

lets hope the weather picks up between now and then..
